Milk Spill Closes Highway

(TWIN FALLS) – The eastbound lane of U.S. Highway 30 was closed for nearly three hours Monday after a milk truck tipped over. Investigators say the driver was traveling between Filer and Twin Falls when he drifted to the right shoulder of the road, overcorrected, and flipped the tanker on its side. The truck spilled an estimated 6,000 gallons of milk onto the roadway. The driver was hospitalized for minor injuries.
