(HAILEY) – The parents of Idaho POW Bowe Bergdahl are going public about previously secret attempts by the U.S. to trade their son for Taliban prisoners in American custody. They say U.S. intelligence officials aren’t doing enough to secure the release of the 26-year-old Army Sergeant. Government officials, speaking on conditions of anonymity, say negotiations for a prisoner exchange could soon be in the works.
