Randy Moss Works Out for First Time with 49ers

Moss, who spent the entire 2011 season away from football, looked as fresh as could be. Wearing a red No. 84 jersey while running routes with a short haircut, Moss was a prominant face on the field for the San Francisco 49ers.
“It’s tough to tell that he missed a year of football. I certainly don’t see any rust,” 49ers quarterback Alex Smith said. “He’s running well, catching well. No surprise, he’s a pro and already has a good understanding of the playbook.”
Moss joins a receiving core of Michael Crabtree and newly acquired free agent/Super Bowl champion Mario Manningham and is looking forward to his next workout.
The seven-time pro-bowler has 954 catches for 14,858 yards and 153 TDs in his 13-year career and is hoping to add more to that total this season in the Bay area.
