Roscoe Smith Transfers to UNLV

Joe Robbins/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Former Connecticut Huskie forward Roscoe Smith is transferring to UNLV.
Smith was a starter on UConn’s 2011 Championship team and has two years of eligibility left. He becomes the fifth Huskie with eligibility to leave the team since the end of the season.
UConn is banned from the 2013 season for poor academic performance.
The 6-foot-8 Smith averaged 4.4 points, 3.4 rebounds a game last season.
