The Blues Lose Halak for Second Round
Published at(ST. LOUIS) — St. Louis Blues goaltender Jaroslav Halak will miss the rest of the Blues second round playoff series with the Los Angeles Kings. He already missed most of the Blues first round series with the San Jose Sharks due to an ankle injury.
Halak had a great second season for the Blues. He finished the regular season with a 26-12-7 record while recording a 1.97 goals-against, and .926 saves percentage.
Brian Elliott will continue to fill in for the Blues. He was in net for the final three wins of the Blues first round playoff series, but has since lost two straight to the Kings, allowing seven goals in two games.
