(BOISE) – A Boise man arrested on drunk driving charges must pay $68 to replace the torn pants of a police officer, but had other expenses waived. Raymond Nienburg has been arrested eight times for drunken driving. During his latest arrest, an officer ripped his pants while trying to chase Nienburg down. Another officer damaged his patrol car when he struck and killed Nienburg’s dog. An Idaho Appeals court ruled that Nienburg did not have to compensate police for the vehicle’s damage.
