Fire Burns 100-Acres on Saturday

(POCATELLO, ID) — Warmer temperatures and low humidity led to at least one eastern Idaho fire Saturday. A wildfire about 11 miles east of Blackfoot on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation burned nearly a hundred acres. Several agencies worked to control the flames, which were aided by the strong winds. On Sunday the National Weather Service issued a Red Flag Warning for the region, though the risk for wildfires has since been downgraded.
