Grizzly Killed by Vehicle in Grand Teton Park

(JACKSON, WY) — A young grizzly bear was killed in Grand Teton National Park Thursday morning after being struck by a motorist. Investigators say the driver was swerving to avoid another vehicle that had quickly turned around to snap some photographs of the bears. The car rolled over during the accident and the driver sustained minor injuries. Rangers say it was the first bear fatality caused by a vehicle in the park this year.
