Idaho Falls Police Arrest a Man on Arson Charges

(IDAHO FALLS, ID)  —   Idaho Falls Police arrested 36-year-old Benjamin Ross Baldwin for first-degree arson Sunday night after a suspicious house fire in the 200 block of East 20^th Street.   Baldwin of Idaho Falls was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.    According to reports, police responded to a house fire around 10:20 p.m. Witnesses spotted Baldwin, who resided at the house with his wife, leavin the house just before the fire was seen by neighbors.  He was detained by officers trying to return to the scene of the fire.

There were also reports that Baldwin and his wife were involved in a domestic disturbance at the house earlier in the evening.    Police and fire continue their investigations.
