Idaho Motorcycle Deaths Down 50 Percent

(IDAHO FALLS) – Recent numbers from the state highway safety association are showing positive trends for motorcyclists. The number of motorcycle-related deaths went down nearly 50 percent between 2010 and 2011. Still, the number of deaths nationally has remained steady. Officials say it’s a sign that more Idaho drivers are keeping an eye out for bikers, though they recommend that drivers remain vigilant as warmer weather brings more bikers to busy roads.
