Kings goalie Jonathan Quick made 22 saves, and the Kings received goals from four different players, as the Kings defeated the New Jersey Devils, 4-0, giving them a 3-0 series lead.

Much of the Kings success has to be attributed to the defense and goaltender Jonathan Quick. The Devils have now scored a total of two goals in the series.

“You have to give their goalie and their team some credit,” Devils coach Peter DeBoer said. “He’s made some saves…We’ve put up the same number of chances against Philly or the Rangers and we were getting some goals. We’re not this series. That’s a credit to them. It’s not our guys aren’t trying or they’re not doing enough. Their (the Kings) shutting the door.”

The Kings have now held three nothing series leads in each round of the playoffs. If Los Angeles were to win Game 4, it would be the first team since Detroit in 1998, to win the Cup with a sweep.

Game 4 is Wednesday night in Los Angeles. The puck drops at approximately 8 PM ET.
