Piquet Jr. won the poll and lead on the last restart to cruise into victory lane.

“Opened a little gap on the last restart and just maintained it,” said Piquet Jr. “Car was great, team was great.”

Michael McDowell finished in second followed by Ron Fellows in third.

“There at the end we just didn’t have the track position,” said McDowell.  “We were able to get through the field but I used up my tires quite a bit getting there, didn’t have enough for Nelson at the end.”

Danica Patrick had a chance to finish in the top five but collided with Jacques Villeneuve on the last lap as the two drivers were battling for fourth place.  Patrick finished in 12th, while Villeneuve took home sixth place.
