King County prosecutors have charged Goodrich with 33 counts of theft for allegedly stealing $380,000 from the band’s accounts during his tenure as CFO of Curtis Inc., Pearl Jam’s management company.  Seattle police, however, are estimating that the band’s losses are higher. They claim that Goodrich’s theft has caused the band to lose around $566,000 — including investigation expenses — between 2006 and 2010, when he was fired, according to the website.

Goodrich declined to comment for the SeattlePI story.  He is due to appear in King County Superior Court in Seattle on June 28 to enter an initial plea.

According to prosecutors, Goodrich — who was original hired by by Pearl Jam Touring Co. in 2005 as the band’s accountant and financial officer — transferred money from company accounts to pay personal debts and also is alleged to have used band credit cards to pay for personal expenses including family vacations, SeattlePI reports.
