Pocatello Woman Stabbed

(POCATELLO, ID) — A Pocatello woman was hospitalized Thursday morning after she was stabbed in the neck. Police say the 47-year-old victim, who has yet to be identified, was attacked on the 800 block of Barton Road some time after midnight. The woman suffered a serious neck injury, though doctors say her wounds are not life-threatening. With the assistance of a potential witness, officers hope to have a suspect named soon. Investigators believe alcohol likely played a factor in the incident.
