Pocatello Zoo Gets New Bear Cub

(POCATELLO, ID) — The Pocatello Zoo welcomed a new black bear cub Tuesday night. KPVI reports that the cub was orphaned recently, and the Idaho Fish and Game wanted to make sure the little bear had a safe place to live. Zoo officials say they’re getting the cub acclimated to his new surroundings, and it may be a little while before visitors can catch a glimpse at him. The cub is already making friends with some of the animals nearby. Authorities say the new grizzly bear exhibit, which has been years in the making, will be open July 3.
