Report: Alcohol in Lindsay Lohan’s Car at Time of Crash

Amy Graves/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) — There was an open container of alcohol in the Porsche Lindsay Lohan was driving when it struck a dump truck near Los Angeles last Friday, but it appears she was not under the influence at the time.
TMZ.com reports police at the scene found a plastic water bottle containing alcohol that had been in the Porsche. One source says the bottle was found in the trunk of the car, while another says it was found nearby the vehicle. It is not illegal to keep an open container of alcohol in the trunk of a car.
According to TMZ, police say Lohan did not have alcohol in her system at the time of the crash.
Earlier this week, TMZ reported that the Mean Girls star may have violated her informal probation by falsely claiming to police that her assistant was the driver of the Porsche.
