Security Officer Charged With Filing False Report

(JACKSON, Wyo.) – A Grand Teton Lodge security guard is facing charges of filing a false police report in connection to an alleged assault. Park officials say Christopher Dascoli of Lee, Massachusetts lied about being physically assaulted during a party at the Jackson Lake Lodge. Dascoli was later treated at St. John’s Medical Center in Jackson. Investigators were able to determine that the guard’s claims were unfounded. Dascoli has been charged with interfering with an agency function.
