(IDAHO FALLS, ID)  —  A new type of pest is showing up more often in the Gem State. The brown marmorated stink bug started showing up in Idaho back in 1998, and has a reputation for destroying crops on the East Coast.  Officials say a few cases of the bug impacting crops have been reported in western Idaho, and there’s no foolproof way to get rid of them.  The bug is known to attack more than 300 types of plants.
