The Wranglers based out of Texas, let Owens go after he failed to show up at a local children’s hospital appearance and were upset after Owens’ said he did not plan on playing on the road in the team’s last two regular season games that would impact their playoff chances.

On Friday, Owens’ lawyers sent a letter to the team’s ownership, seeking payment and an about-face as to the public allegation that he missed an event at a children’s hospital.

The deadline for the team to pay Owens is noon tomorrow.  If the team fails to meet T.O.’s request, he’ll head to court looking to settle the feud there.
