Teton County Wyo. Tests Reverse 911 System

(JACKSON, Wyo.) – Residents of Teton County, Wyoming received “reverse 911” calls this week. County officials were testing out a proposed emergency notification system, and so far, they’re pleased with the feedback they’ve received. Engineers say the messages aren’t always clear, since they’re working out the “kinks” in the system. For now, tentative plans to retest the system are set for sometime next week, as well as in July.
