(POWER COUNTY) – Three people were taken into custody last Thursday evening during a routine traffic stop in Power County. Investigators say Mario Gomez of Chicago, Illinois was found to have a suspended license, prompting a search of the car. Police discovered 5.1 grams of heroin along with money and other drug paraphernalia. 27-year-old passenger Alma Ramirez is being held in the Bannock County jail on a $75,000 bond. Gomez and a third subject – a juvenile – have since been released.
