Utah Resource Officer Appeals Firing for Donning Speedo

(PROVO, Utah) – A Provo, Utah police officer wants his job back after he was fired for donning a Speedo during a high school birthday skit. Cody Harris, who was told by administrators to dress as a frog, was unable to fit into his green costume and opted to go with a Speedo instead. School officials say Harris’ behavior was unbefitting a school resource officer. Harris contends that the skit was a simple joke, and that being terminated went too far.
