10 Killed in Yemen by Suicide Bomber

iStockphoto/Thinkstock(SANAA, Yemen) — Suicide bombing in Yemen killed at least ten people at a police academy on Wednesday. It’s the latest violence targeting Yemen’s government forces in a shadow war against Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.
Yemen launched an offensive on Al Qaeda, taking back control of whole towns and working with the U.S. to strike Al Qaeda targets. In response, Al Qaeda has fought back. In May, a single Al Qaeda attack killed nearly 100 Yemeni soldiers.
