(IDAHO FALLS, ID)  —  The temporary and precautionary “Boil Order” affecting a portion of the city of Idaho Falls has now been lifted.  All impacted areas are now no longer under the order.  The city of Idaho Falls Water Superintendent, David Richards, has issued an “all clear” after confirming that the city water system is operating at 100% capacity and is contamination free.  Commenting on the brief order, Superintendent Richards stated, “This action was undertaken to ensure both the quality of the water and the integrity of the city’s water delivery system.  The order has now been lifted after independent lab tests confirmed that the water in Idaho Falls is safe for consumption.  As a public utility, we make every effort to deliver safe and affordable water to our customers and that is why we issued the order.  We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.”
