Broadway and Oscar-Winning Actress Celeste Holm Dies
Published at(NEW YORK) — Veteran actress Celeste Holm died Sunday of a heart attack in New York City. She was 95.
Holm won the Academy Award for best supporting actress for her role in the 1947 film Gentleman’s Agreement, and achieved fame on Broadway as part of the original cast production of Rogers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma!
Holm’s acting credits also include All About Eve and Three Men and a Baby. Holm was inducted into the American Theatre Hall of Fame in 1992.
Holm is survived by two sons, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
