PHX HILL GRANT? Turns out, Hill still has plenty of basketball left in him as he recently agreed to a two-year, $4 million contract with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Hill’s next season will be his 18th in the NBA, and the Clippers will be his fourth team he’s played for overall. He spent the past five seasons with the Phoenix Suns.

“I had some good conversations with (Del Negro) and I was impressed with the things that went on last year,” Hill said. “Obviously (Blake) Griffin and his progression, Chris coming on board and Chauncey and some of the moves that were made this offseason were big. It just seemed like a good fit. It was a team that took a big step last season and hopefully we can take another big step this season.”

The 39-year old Hill averaged a career low 10.2 points per game for the Suns last season, but since joining Phoenix he’s been mostly healthy, which is something that plagued him while a member of the Orlando Magic. Since coming to Phoenix, Hill has appeared in 362 out of 394 games.

Hill joins the Clippers this offseason along with Lamar Odom, Jamal Crawford, and Ryan Hollins.
