Fire Chief Irwin Resigns

(POCATELLO) – Pocatello Fire Chief Mike Irwin has announced his resignation. Irwin has accepted a position as chief in Springdale, Arkansas. Irwin has overseen the Gate City’s fire crews since 2009. Pocatello Mayor Brian Blad says he’s happy for Irwin, but acknowledges that the city will have huge shoes to fill in his absence. An interim replacement is pending.
