Golf Cart Runs Over Boy

(REXBURG) – A Rexburg boy was treated for neck injuries Wednesday after being run over by a golf cart. Police say the 7-year-old was riding in the cart looking for golf balls at the Rexburg Municipal Golf Course when he jumped off to retrieve one before the cart fully stopped. The boy’s neck was run over by the right front tire. He was later transported to Madison Memorial Hospital, though his condition has not been released.
