In a statement to ABC News, his rep said, “According to doctors, Michael Clarke Duncan suffered a myocardial infarction early this morning. He is now stable and we look forward to his full recovery.”

Reportedly, Duncan has his girlfriend, reality star Omarosa Stallworth, to thank. The former Apprentice diva performed CPR on Duncan when she noticed his heart had stopped around 2 a.m., according to TMZ. Stallworth was able to revive the 54-year-old.

Duncan was later transported to a nearby Los Angeles hospital where he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit.

In addition to his role in The Green Mile, which earned him an Academy Award nomination, Duncan has appeared in Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Armageddon, Planet of the Apes and Daredevil.  His voice was also heard in Kung Fu Panda.
