Twin Falls Man Claims Self-Defense in Shooting
Published at(TWIN FALLS) – A Twin Falls man who shot another person during a domestic dispute last week is claiming self defense. Police say the shooter, whose name has not been released, shot and injured 27-year-old Joseph Cossette. Investigators say Cossette was trying to kick down the door of a house where his estranged wife had fled after a fight. A short time later, officers officers were told that shots were fired and that Cossette was wounded. Police say Cossette was involved in a domestic battery call with his wife the day before.
