(YELLOWSTONE, N.P.) – The number of visitors to Yellowstone National Park was up six percent in June compared to last year’s levels. The park welcomed nearly 675,000 people last month, a number second only to record levels reported in 2010. Visitation for the first six months of 2012 was also up 11 percent. Officials say July is typically the park’s busiest month, followed by August.
