(POCATELLO, ID)  —  The city of Pocatello is asking voters to approve a $2.8 million bond for a new animal shelter. The measure will be on the November ballot. The proposed facility would be built on a dirt lot next to the current building, which officials say has fallen into disrepair. The plan still faces a high hurdle if its going to become a reality. The bond needs 66 percent support in order to pass.
