(HAMPTON COURT, England) – Boise native Kristin Armstrong took home her second straight Olympic gold medal Wednesday. The former two-time world cycling champion completed an 18-mile course south of London in just over 37 minutes. The 38-year-old initially retired after the Beijing Olympics to start a family, but after delivering a son in 2010, she hopped back on her bike and started training for London. Armstrong beat her toughest opponent, Judith Arndt of Germany, by just over 15 seconds.
