Community Unites Behind Student’s Fight For Life
Published at(POCATELLO) – A community is uniting behind a Highland High School student fighting for her life. Timmie Bowie, an all-star athlete and long-time volunteer has been diagnosed with aplastic anemia. The life-threatening disease makes it difficult for Timmie to develop white blood cells, keeping the junior class president homebound. In an effort to help Timmie’s family with monetary expenses, her friends are organizing a city-wide variety show Aug. 22. The event kicks off at 6:30 p.m. at the Pocatello High School Auditorium. Tickets are $10.
