Elliott Sadler Wins NASCAR’s Iowa 250

Rainier Ehrhardt/Getty Images for NASCAR(NEWTON, Iowa) — NASCAR Nationwide driver Elliott Sadler took home the checkered flag in Saturday Night’s running of the U.S. Cellular 250 at the Iowa Speedway.

Starting from the pole, Sadler took the lead for good on lap 192 when he passed Justin Allgaier en route to his fourth victory of the season.

“He made one slip off of turn four and opened the door for me,” Sadler said of passing Allgaier. “He just got a little loose off of turn four and that particular lap I got a really good bite under him.”

Sam Hornish Jr., Michael Annett and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. rounded out the top five.
