Inmate Kills Self at Pocatello Prison

(POCATELLO) – An inmate likely committed suicide at the Pocatello Women’s Correctional Center Sunday. Authorities say they found 51-year-old Cindy Jones hanging in the shower area Sunday afternoon. Emergency personnel were immediately called to the scene, though they were unable to revive her. Jones was serving a 20-year sentence for kidnapping and aggravated assault, among other charges. She was scheduled to be released in 2018.
