(NEW YORK) — Jennifer Lopez is backing her man all the way in the wake of tabloid reports that claim boyfriend Casper Smart paid a recent visit to a so-called “exotic massage parlor” and a gay porn shop in New York City, reports E!
The couple’s attorneys, Howard Weitzman and Shawn Holley, released a statement Wednesday saying, “These statements are false, malicious and defamatory.” The lawyers added, “Ms. Lopez and Mr. Smart will pursue all remedies available to them under the law.”
Star magazine/RadarOnline and InTouch Weekly published quotes from a masseuse and a porn shop employee, who claim Smart visited the massage parlor for about 10 minutes on July 23, the day he helped J-Lo celebrate her 43rd birthday. They also claim he dropped by the adults-only store.
A source tells E! the couple’s lawyers have demanded an immediate retraction, and have threatened to file a lawsuit against the magazines.
The source insists the 25-year-old Smart was in the Manhattan neighborhood to get his shaved head clean in time for the party, and to have a tattoo artist make some small changes to his ink. The “Love, Hate” tattoos Smart has spelled out in between his fingers were changed to “Love, Hard,” says the source.
