RadarOnline.com quotes a source as saying it was Foster, Stewart’s Panic Room co-star and mentor, that got the 22-year-old actress to face the music in the wake of her much publicized affair with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders.

The source says Foster told Stewart that “it was no good moping around the house and that the sooner she faced the world and was seen in public, the quicker she can move on with her life.”

The source says it wasn’t doing Stewart “any good hiding and Jodie was aware of that and convinced her to leave her safety zone in an effort to end the media hounding.”

The website’s source adds that while making an appearance in public is a good start, Foster thinks that Stewart “could maybe address her actions with an exclusive interview.”
