(JACKSON, WY) — Nearly 700 regional Democrats gathered in Jackson over the weekend for a campaign fundraiser hosted by Michelle Obama. Saturday’s luncheon targeted small and large donors alike, with some donating as much as $38,000 for a photo op with the First Lady. A similar fundraiser by the Romney campaign was met with vocal protests just a few weeks ago. Mrs. Obama spoke for about 45 minutes, highlighting her husband’s efforts to promote health care reform and marriage equality.
