Pot Operation Much Larger Than Expected

(GRACE) – A marijuana growing operation discovered near Grace last week has turned out to be much larger than expected. The Caribou County Sheriff’s Office now says there may be upwards of 40,000 plants on the site, with a total street value of $80.5 million. Bannock County Sheriff Lorin Nielsen, who is assisting with the investigation, believes the operation may be connected to a Mexican drug cartel.
