Robert Pattinson to Appear on “The Daily Show,” “GMA”

Dominique Charriau/WireImage(NEW YORK) — As he continues to deal with the fallout of his girlfriend Kristen Stewart cheating on him, Robert Pattinson will sit down for an interview with ABC’s Good Morning America on Wednesday, Aug. 15.
It’s one of two upcoming sit-down interviews for the 26-year-old actor; he reportedly is also confirmed to appear as a guest on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show on Monday, Aug. 13.
These will be Pattinson’s first interviews since Stewart publicly apologized for cheating on him with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.
The GMA appearance will be a live interview. There is no word yet on who will be asking the questions to Pattinson, but he will be there to promote his new movie, Cosmopolis.
Meanwhile, Pattinson left Reese Witherspoon’s house in Ojai, Calif., on Friday for a night out with friends from the U.K. at a nearby country-Western bar.
A source told People magazine, “Pattinson came in with a few friends, like three guys. There was a big party here already and they came in to hang out with the party. There were two girls that were hanging around him, but not Rob necessarily. He seemed happy, fine.”
The source added, “He was laughing and smiling most of the time, but he was low key. He didn’t really get up. No dancing or anything. He was totally nice and polite.”
