BABY BIRDS

(IDAHO FALLS) – The Tautphaus Park Zoo has welcomed more than a few new critters this year, especially baby birds. KPVI reports that the zoo’s flamingos, penguins, hombills and lapwings have all had babies this year. Zoo officials say they plan to take care of the birds for at least a year, until other zoos provide openings. They say the hatchlings have a better chance of surviving in captivity than they would in the wild.
