Team USA continued its quest for their second straight gold medal in the London Olympics Friday night by beating Argentina 109-83.

It will be a rematch of the 2008 gold medal game on Sunday when Americans take on Spain, who beat Russia earlier in the day 67-59.

LeBron James once again led the way for Team USA, scoring 18 points to go along with seven rebounds and assists.

Argentina kept the score close and even lead by four early in the third quarter. Then American forward Kevin Durant hit two threes during an 8-0 run and teamed up with James to run away from Argentina.

The U.S. had another prolific day from beyond the arc, hitting 18 three-pointers while shooting 53 percent overall.

Kevin Durant had five threes, while Carmelo Anthony had four threes of his own.

Manu Ginobli had 18 points to pace the Argentines, while Luis Scola and Carlos Delfino each chipped in 15 points.
