(NEW YORK) — While Mariah Carey has been hired to take Jennifer Lopez’s seat on American Idol, producers of the show are still scrambling for a successor to Steven Tyler, and the latest possibility is allegedly Diddy.
The New York Post reports the producers have “reached out” to the hip-hop mogul and entrepreneur, whose birth name is Sean Combs, in hopes he’ll take the job, but there’s been no word back as of yet.
Diddy already has several business ventures on his plate, including his own record label, a fashion line, a marketing agency along with being part owner of Ciroc Vodka.
