Colo. Movie Theater Shooting: New Documents Unsealed

Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office(AURORA, Colo.) — A load of court documents was unsealed Friday in the case of the alleged Colorado movie theater shooter.
The documents show that prosecutors believe James Holmes threatened a professor at the University of Colorado before he walked into the movie theater and opened fire. Prosecutors say the threats were why Holmes was denied access to non-public parts of the Colorado campus.
The documents also show Holmes sent numerous text messages to a fellow student and that prosecutors believe the messages will be important evidence in the case.
Police allege Holmes is responsible for the July 20 shooting that left 12 dead and 58 others wounded.
