GETTY E 092612 Money? SQUARESPACE CACHEVERSION=1348648014294Adam Gault/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — A couple is suing Fox, claiming the network dropped the ball when they were asked a “trick question” on a short-lived game show that aired over a year ago.

The show in question is Million Dollar Money Drop, which aired from December 2010 to February 2011 and was hosted by Kevin Pollack.

Andrew and Patricia Murray claim in their lawsuit that they lost 580 thousand dollars on a question that they perceive to be misleading, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

They were asked to identify the most common computer password, based on information from the data security firm Imperva. The options were “Password,” “123456,” and “I Love You,” and the couple went with “Password.”

The correct answer, according to the show, was “123456,” but, the Murrays allege, it was based on analysis of a hacking incident involving the website RockYou.com, and not an overall survey of computer users. The couple says the question was unfair because it lacked comprehensive research.

The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages.
