(IDAHO FALLS) – Area Democrats are working to get more registered voters among minority groups. With Hispanics making up nearly 12 percent of Bonneville County’s population, organizers have set up a bilingual hotline to assist Spanish-speakers who are looking to cast their ballots. Local News 8 reports that those seeking to register will only need a proof of address before Oct. 12. After that, they’ll be required to register at the polls with a proof of address and a photo ID.
