(IDAHO FALLS) – The state of Idaho is ranked tenth in the nation for the largest share of people who don’t pay federal income taxes. Experts tell Local News 8 that the numbers are reflective of Idaho’s large base of farmers, small business owners, and large families taking advantage of tax credits. Idaho also ranks 49th in the nation for the average annual income of its residents. They say the current tax code favors entrepreneurship, though that could change if the Bush tax cuts expire
