The Hangover‘s Justin Bartha and Girls actor Andrew Rannells play a gay couple in Los Angeles who want to become parents. As luck would have it, Goldie, a single mom from the Midwest, moves to L.A. and agrees to carry their unborn child. Goldie’s grandmother, played by Ellen Barkin, is a big part of her life, too.

The New Normal, co-created by Glee’s Ryan Murphy, made headlines last month when a Salt Lake City station refused to add it to its schedule, claiming that it contained crude language and explicit content.

The New Normal will air at 10 p.m. Eastern time Monday night, before an encore presentation of the Go On pilot, which originally premiered during the Olympics. Matthew Perry stars in Go On as a sports talk radio host who attends counseling sessions.

Both shows will air regularly on Tuesday nights, beginning this week.
