Dynamite Brown

(UCON, ID)  —  Multiple agencies responded to a home in Ucon this afternoon after reports of an explosive device might be found.   Emergency crews did remove a fairly large roll of dynamite from the house located on 38 East, just off of 105 North.   The explosives were reportedly taken to a gravel pit on nearby Yellowstone Highway.  No word on how the dynamite got there or who it belongs to.   There were apparently no injuries or arrests made at this time.   It is believed people in surrounding homes in the subdivision were evacuated, and have been allowed back in to their neighborhood.   Emergency crews from the Ucon FD, Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office, Idaho Falls Fire Department and the Regional Bomb Squad were on the scene.   The investigation is continuing.
